Teleconferences
The Client Services Team hold teleconferences every third Wednesday of the month from 11am to 11:45am.
Each conversation is an interactive event where clients and carers are invited to dial in. They have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with others on the line or, if they prefer to simply listen to the information being provided.
Upcoming teleconferences
21 March 2012 - ‘Coming from a client’s perspective’. Ann tells her story of living with Myotonic.
18 April 2012 - ‘Dealing with loss and grief’ with guest speaker Kathy Parkinson (B.Sc.Psych), Principal Counsellor, Serendipity (Hervey Bay).
16 May 2012 - ‘A conversation on how the NDIS would benefit you’. Two guest speakers are asked to respond to the important questions on what will meet their needs when the NDIS is implemented.
20 June 2012 - ‘Insight from a leading rod surgeon’. Dr Geoffery Askin will discuss rod surgery and the difference it makes to people with MD and other neuromuscular conditions.

How to dial in
On the morning of the teleconference simply dial the telephone number from any telephone and follow the prompts.
Dial in on 1800 701 193.
When prompted you need to enter security code 405882#.
