Do I need to provide my own riding gear?

No. Helmets will be provided to those that need them. If you have a helmet, you are welcome to bring one along.

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, 100kg. For the safety of the pillion and the riders, this is a strict requirement so that both rider and pillion enjoy a safe ride.

What if I need help getting on my bike?

Participants must be able mount and dismount a motorbike independently as the full day ride involves stops along the way at multiple destinations. This is for the safety of the rider and the pillion.

Do I have to be over 18?

Yes. Pillions must be aged 18 & over unless riding with a family member.

What is the cancellation policy?

An administration fee of $60 will be charged for any refund requests. Any cancellations within 48 hours of the event will not be entitled to a refund. A paid pillion transfer request may be made for a fee of $25, but not within 48 hours of the event.

I have a motorbike, how can I join in?

Brisbane HOG are the organising group behind this event and have requirements in place in order for their club riders to join. Enquiries may be sent to them here.

What should I wear on the day?

It’s recommended that ride participants wear thick jeans/cargo pants (not the thin summer variety), sturdy boots with flat heels or runners, and a denim or leather jacket that can be zipped up or fastened closed.

The ride can be a little cold, so a short scarf or similar and gloves would be beneficial.

If you have a helmet, bring it along or one will be supplied.

Can I buy a pillion ticket as a gift?

We think a pillion ticket is a great idea for a gift!

Please complete the form with their details except for their email address and you will have one excited recipient!

What if I am new to riding? Or a little unsure?

All pillion passengers are welcome! The group will get a full briefing before the ride on the day to make sure you get the most out of your riding.

If this is your first ride, please mention to your rider on the day. Many of our riders and pillions have ridden with us before and will be happy to talk about their experience.

Our wonderful support crew will be leading us on the day, and this is always an option for you in between stops.

What should I bring on the day?

We recommend you bring as little as possible with you to carry on the bike on the day. A small backpack or handbag is suitable. At your risk, some belongings may be left with the crew and transported along to the venues on the day if necessary.
