Fundraising and Events

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland relies on the generous support of the Queensland community to ensure we can provide reliable services for the people who live in our State, with muscular dystrophy and similar neuromuscular conditions. Our annual fundraising events calendar includes the following signature events, and from time to time, other fabulous members of our community run their own fundraising events.

Red Bow Appeal – March

Throughout the state, we celebrate Red Bow Month in March to increase community awareness of muscular dystrophy and improve services for people living with muscular dystrophy and similar conditions.

The main highlight of the month is Red Bow Day, when Year 11 students of All Hallows’ converge on Brisbane CBD for two hours before classes begin to collect donations.

You can join the fun by fundraising any day in March. Create your own Red Bow Day and encourage your friends and workplace to fundraise with you.
