Red Bow Appeal – over $23k raised!

Red Bow appeal

With your help we’ve raised over $23,000 to provide support and services for people living with muscular dystrophy and similar conditions through our Red Bow Appeal.

A massive thank you to the students of All Hallows’ School who hit the streets of Brisbane on Red Bow Day, Friday March 18 and raised an incredible $16,015! Thank you All Hallows’ and thank you to all our Brisbane supporters!

Meanwhile, over at redbow.org.au our wonderful community members raised over $7,000! Each joined with their own idea to create an impact for our community, from fur babies wearing bows and delicious morning teas, to an end of term party in the park and corporate activities – all did their best, raising awareness and crucial funding to continue our work.

Thank you to all of you that took part. A big thanks to our top fundraisers – Nexia Brisbane, Kathleen, Becky and Aimee. And of course Lindsay and fur baby Eric.

Thank you to our wonderful corporate supporters including Brisbane City Council, Queensland Rail and Transurban who really helped set the scene, support our street collection and light up the city’s landmarks in red and purple.

We couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing volunteers too.

If you didn’t get a chance to make a donation or would like to get involved or purchase some Red Bow merchandise you can do so over at redbow.org.au.
