Muscular Dystrophy Charity Ride – Terms and Conditions

I hereby agree to abide by the Ride and Safety Rules of the Brisbane Harley Owners Group & the Dept of Transport Qld Road Rules as instructed to me before or during the ride. I also accept that Muscular Dystrophy Queensland, Morgan & Wacker Harley Davidson Inc and Brisbane Harley Owners Group Inc. shall not be liable or responsible for damage to property or injury to persons including myself during or surrounding the Muscular Dystrophy Queensland Charity Ride in partnership with Brisbane Harley Owners Group, even where the damage or injury is caused by negligence (except wilful neglect).

I understand and agree that I am participating at my own risk. By registering online, I certify that I have read and fully understand this disclaimer and am not relying on any statements or representations made by any of the parties named herein.

I give Muscular Dystrophy Queensland and all licensees and assignees the absolute right to copyright and use of sounds and images used in the Muscular Dystrophy Charity Ride and any other reproduction or adaptions thereof, in whole or in part, alone or in altered form, or in conjunction with any working, voiceover, superimposition, music lyrics or other vision for advertising, publicity, editorial or any other relevant purpose. I agree to allow Muscular Dystrophy Queensland to use live footage of myself in campaigns for an unlimited time and without any further restrictions whatsoever. I understand that I do not own the copyright in the sound or vision and I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished production.

Participants must be able mount and dismount a motorbike independently. We also require participants to provide details about their height and weight (100 kg maximum) to ensure we’re able to match pillions with a suitable rider and bike.

Events of this nature carry risks that could result in injury. These risks cannot be eliminated without jeopardising the essential qualities of the ride.

Pillions must be aged 18 & over unless riding with a family member.

For paid pillions: I understand that an administration fee of $60 will be charged for any refund requests. Any cancellations within 48 hours of the event will not be entitled to a refund. A paid pillion transfer request may be made for a fee of $25, but not within 48 hours of the event.
