Allied Health Team

Our office is located in Nundah. On street parking is available nearby and there is convenient access to public transport, with Nundah and Toombul train stations within easy walking or rolling distance. Nundah Village provides our team with plenty of options for lunchtime and the occasional after work social when they are working from the office. Muscular Dystrophy Queensland also has a well established ‘work from home’ model.

Current Positions Vacant

General Manager – Community Services

This new position will support the General Manager (A/CEO) upon the retirement of the current CEO in May 2023.  To provide a detailed handover, we hope to negotiate a mutually suitable start date from mid-April.

Leading Muscular Dystrophy Queensland’s community services team, which provides NDIS related and charitable services. Your team works with children and adults living with muscle wasting conditions and develops lasting relationships with community members who rely upon us to help to maintain their independence and live the lives they choose.

As a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager (Acting CEO) and ably supported by the Allied Health Clinical Lead, you’ll nurture our existing services and the team employed to deliver them as well as exploring opportunities to develop new services which respond to the needs expressed by our community members. You’re also keen to grow Muscular Dystrophy Queensland’s reputation as a quality provider with specialist knowledge of muscular dystrophy and muscle wasting conditions for all Queenslanders living with these rare conditions with external stakeholders, there in Queensland and throughout Australia.

Client Services Team

From time to time, Muscular Dystrophy Queensland advertises here for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, allied health assistants and support coordinators.
