Corporate Partnerships and Workplace Giving

Corporate Partnerships

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland seeks rewarding partnerships with businesses that share our commitment to nurturing a community of support for the children, young people, adults, and families whose lives are affected by neuromuscular conditions.

Can your organisation help?

We can work with your organisation to develop a mutually beneficial partnership program that is tailored to the needs of your organisation. We offer a range of opportunities to engage your staff, connect with your target audience, and assist you in meeting corporate social responsibility objectives.

Workplace Giving

Thank you for your interest in Workplace Giving – a simple way to support a worthy cause by allowing employees to make regular tax-free donations.

Workplace Giving is a great way to provide regular and ongoing financial support to Muscular Dystrophy Queensland in a reliable and tax and efficient manner. Workplace Giving can also provide a wonderful opportunity for bringing people together through the workplace.

Individual Employees

If your employer already has a Workplace Giving program in place, please talk with them about nominating Muscular Dystrophy Queensland as your charity of choice. You may discover that your employer will even want to match your donations. You might choose to encourage your workmates and colleagues to support us too.

If you are an employee wondering how you can sign up or get your workplace on board, we recommend speaking to your HR or Payroll team. If your organisation does not already have a program set up, we would be happy to assist your team in getting started.

There are two ways you can set up Workplace Giving for your organisation. You may prefer to use a third party workplace giving platform or you may make payments directly to Muscular Dystrophy Queensland by bank transfer.

Third Party platform

Use of a third party platform allows your employees to manage their own account and contributions. Most third party platforms take some admin time to set up initially and they charge a small ongoing commission or administration fee but they are easy to use going forward.

There are several platforms you can use, such as Good2Give or GoodCompany.

Bank Transfers

Smaller organisations might find they are able to manage workplace giving deductions directly via their payroll software. Regular bank transfers can be set up to coincide with pay cycles. Paying via bank transfer means that you don’t have to worry about fees incurred by third party platforms. You can visit the following for more information ATO website, Workplace Giving Australia.
