After a 2-year hiatus, the first in the 27 year history of this event, Muscular Dystrophy Queensland and Brisbane Harley Owners Group are excited to announce the 2022 Muscular Dystrophy Charity Ride is on! Donning their leathers and ready to ride, over 100 Harley Davidson bikers will roar through the streets of Brisbane and beyond, taking their courageous passenger on an exhilarating ‘ride of their life’.

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland’s CEO Helene Frayne commented on the ride “Previous participants in the ride have had the experience of a lifetime and enjoyed being able to help Queenslanders with muscular dystrophy, many of whom can’t jump on the back of a bike. Events like this help to provide charitable services and support to our 600+ clients in Queensland. The Muscular Dystrophy Charity Ride is a great way for us to help our clients have a greater quality of life, and for passengers and bikers to have a wild time.”

Safety Notes:

Events of this nature carry risks that could result in injury. These risks cannot be eliminated without jeopardising the essential qualities of the ride.

Participants must be able mount and dismount a motorbike independently. We also require participants to provide details about their height and weight to ensure we’re able to match pillions with a suitable rider and bike.

As the event catering is provided by businesses required to adhere to “green tick” vaccination mandates, all participants must show evidence their current, up to date COVID vaccination status at the morning registration.
