The Infoline is a free information service staffed by knowledgeable professionals who can answer your questions about life with muscular dystrophy. 

The service can be accessed by phone or email and is open during business hours and is available to anyone wishing to resolve a query about living with muscular dystrophy in Queensland.

We’ll work to understand each caller’s concerns and provide recommendations that consider their unique requirements. Queries may be resolved in a single call. Or, it may be more suitable to continue the conversation and allow more complex queries to be resolved over time. 

You may have questions relating to:

• accessing the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) 
• other funded services and supports 
• opportunities for sport and recreation
• research updates and improvements in treatments
• Muscular Dystrophy Queensland’s range of services

Whatever the query, we’re here to support families living with muscular dystrophy at any stage of their lives, through;

• pre-diagnosis or at diagnosis
• making a transition in life e.g. leaving school; retiring
• managing progressions and when more services are needed
• managing incidents which are difficult to navigate through without advice and help
