Our office is currently located in Underwood however most staff enjoy working a ‘hybrid’ work model where the majority of their hours are completed working from home or out in the community; delivering services or meeting with our supporters and running community fundraising events.

Allied Health Professionals

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland are able to support physiotherapists and occupational therapists at any stage of their career, working part-time or fulltime,  who are interested in extending their knowledge and skills working with people with muscular dystrophy and similar muscle wasting conditions. Our allied health team, which includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists and an allied health assistant also work alongside support coordinators and plan management staff.

As an allied health professional with MDQ, your work will include a variety of clinical tasks which extend your knowledge and skills within our community, both in paediatric and adult practice. You will be delivering a community based service, working in an NDIS environment so there will be lots of report writing!
