Become a CLG Member

Many fundraising events are organised by our Community Liaison Group (CLG).

These events bring people together to raise funds and connect, while social activities inspired by member feedback give everyone more chances to meet, share experiences and build friendships.

If you’d like to get involved and help shape our events and programs, join the CLG today and become part of our vibrant community.

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland’s Community Liaison Group (CLG) represents the voice of the Queensland neuromuscular community. The group provides strategic and operational advice to the CEO and board on issues that affect our community.

The CLG includes 10 to 12 members who reflect the diversity of the community. Members bring lived experience, insight and feedback to help shape the future direction of Muscular Dystrophy Queensland.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) – Always Open

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about representing the Queensland neuromuscular community. This is a chance to collaborate with others and make sure the voices and experiences of people with neuromuscular conditions are heard.

We welcome people who are open to sharing their own experiences and keen to listen and learn from others in the group.

Community Liaison Group Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference outline the role of the CLG and what’s expected of members. It ensures everyone can participate equally, be heard, and help influence MDQ’s direction.

If you’re considering joining, we encourage you to read the Terms of Reference to learn more about the group’s purpose and how it works.
