Garvan Institute Breakthrough

In exciting news, a new DNA test will cut the diagnosis of 50 genetic diseases, including muscular dystrophy and similar neuromuscular conditions, from years to just days.

Developed by Garvan researchers, the test will be developed for pathology use over the next 5 years and is being referred to as a “game-changer”.
